We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer Teammate!

TAELCO Aviation and Defense Inc., as a leading aviation and defense company, is in need of a new Structural Analysis Engineer teammate. The person who will be hired will specialize in aviation and defense projects and will have the opportunity to develop themselves. Job Description:

– Performing, evaluating, reporting, and presenting structural analyses in accordance with aviation standards, in line with project requests and schedules,

– Developing methods, programs/macro and writing user manuals for the ability to perform structural analyses within the scope of structural optimization studies,

– Preparing certification reports and relevant ACD4 documents intended to be presented in various stages of the projects,

– Preparing detailed theory manuals containing methods, theories, and methods used in structural analyses.

Qualifications:

– Graduated from Mechanical, Aerospace, Aircraft, or Space Engineering departments of universities,

– Knowledgeable/relevant on Strength, Statics, Dynamics, Fatigue, Damage Tolerance, and Fracture Mechanics subjects,

– 1-4 years of experience in Structural Analysis Engineering,

– Experience/knowledge of structural analysis in MSC Patran/Nastran, Altair Hyperworks, SALOME, or PreProMax/Calculix environments,

– Being able to use CATIA/Siemens NX/FreeCAD at a basic/intermediate level,

– Effective use of MS Office programs,

– No obstacle to traveling and working abroad when necessary,

– Having strong communication skills and being able to work with interdisciplinary teams,

– Being responsible and researcher, and having a good command of English,

– Having a B-class driving license (actively driving),

– Being able to adapt to flexible working hours,

– Residing/having the ability to reside in Ankara.

Additional Qualifications that may be Preferred:

– Previous experience in aircraft structures or aviation sub-system structures,

– Good command of Altair Hypermesh, MSC Patran/Nastran software,

– Experience in creating macros/tools in environments such as Excel, VBA, C#, or Python.
